If neither dominant party represents you, consider the Libertarian Party … a protest?

Donald J Trump, Disruptor

Mr. Trump threatens one half of the electorate. And yet, as an abrasive, disruptive outsider he has rallied the other half of the electorate to his message.

Donald J Trump (DJT), love him or hate him, is a true disruptor. He and the movement he tapped into have changed the national discussion.
In early 2016 I thought of him as a toxic reality show personality … a huckster. Now, in late-2023, I wonder if he will have another impact on a splintered nation.

Will his indictment affect the 2024 election and the run up to it?

His candidacy should NOT be put in jeopardy by an activist judge.

July 10, 2023

It seems DJT is the presumptive GOP candidate. Who else (on the right) has the sway of DJT?  Does he already have a VP ticket mate in mind?

Trump v Binden?  I sincerely hope NOT. A repeat of that kind sparks of further division.

Why can't candidates move from unseemly politics to real governance that truly benefits We The People?

Agenda 47

Yahoo! News (7/14/23) identifies President Trump's Agenda 47 as: (items reordered)

  1.   an end to birthright citizenship,
  2.   pardoning the Jan. 6 terrorists,
  3.   making "peace" with Vladimir Putin by
  4.   withdrawing support for the Ukrainian people and their freedom struggle,
  5.   further criminalizing transgender people and the LGBTQI community more broadly,
  6.   expanding the thought crime and other censorship laws to end the teaching of "critical race theory" and to defeat "Woke" and "Black Lives Matter",
  7.   attacking academic freedom and replacing it with "patriot education",
  8.   implementing a national stop and frisk law,
  9.   putting homeless people in camps or some other designated area under threat of arrest,
  10.   building high tech "freedom cities",
  11.   executing drug dealers,
  12.   ending the professional civil service and replacing it with right-wing political appointees and other such partisan agents,
  13.   gutting the Department of Justice and other parts of the government that opposed Trump's attacks on democracy and the rule of law, and
  14.   starting a trade war with China.

My quick assessment:

Only 28% of President Trump's agenda should be acted upon by the federal gov't, 4 of 14.

Will either dominant party work within The Constitution of the United States?

Agenda 47

Federal Duties

Congress should address items 1 thru 4 above:
  • End jus soli (by soil) citizenship
  • Pardon January 6 protestors – let's see the surveillance video.  I suspect it will show protest, NOT insurrection.
  • Re–establish diplomacy with Vladimir Putin … and every nation's leader
  • Ukraine's territorial integrity is NOT a matter for the US, nor NATO.

President Trump (, Biden, Harris, …) veto all legislation that is NOT veto-proof – that lacks a two-thirds affirmative vote.
Congress must start to lead. 50%-plus-1 decisions and large (political) pendulum swings create deep division.

Local and Sovereign State Duties

Items 5 thru 11 (above) identify social concerns that are reserved for local communities and the Sovereign States – NO federal "action".

Sad Political Shenanigans

Political appointments/patronage will always be seen as political until we shrink the federal gov't … Drain the Swamp!

Absolutely NO!

A trade war with China is especially insane.

Bidenomics

Bidenomics is Legal Plunder. This needs to end.

Keynesian supposition of Gov't Spending has created
massive federal debt and inflation. Stop applying
this destructive fallacy.

Four more years?  NO, thank you.
